WELCOME

The Center for Research on Race, Health Justice, and Public Policy will be an interdisciplinary incubator for research, public policy analysis, scholarship, and the creation of world-class trainees and faculty leaders. The center will serve as an intellectual home for developing cutting-edge solutions for significant social and health disparities. To achieve its mission, the center will organize its structures around three pillars:

  • Education disparities

  • Health justice

  • Justice/public policy

Part of our mission will be an interdisciplinary effort with a One-U approach, leveraging existing academic talent and resources from University of Utah and associated community partners. The center will collaborate with Utah’s other public universities to eliminate social and health disparities within the state and the intermountain region.
